UCD is educating and training tomorrow’s leaders in Connected Health with the development of undergraduate and fourth level connected health programmes.
Connected Health education at UCD reflects policy drivers such as Ireland’s eHealth strategy and Europe’s eHealth Action Plan. Connected Health is a new concept and requires input from a range of disciplines – business, life and health sciences, computer science, engineering and social science.
Across UCD’s schools and colleges, the Connected Health programme is developing next generation thought and business leaders through both taught and research-based teaching.
UCD Connected Health is also conscious of the need to bring already highly qualified and experienced professionals from business and clinical life up to speed on new developments through tailored training and Executive Education.
With that in mind we are developing a suite of connected health education modules and programmes from undergraduate through taught postgraduate to research and Executive Education. UCD’s connected health education options are available on full and part-time bases and are open to graduates of a wide variety of backgrounds.
